A Steam Spade (also called a Steam Shovel) is a tool added with the SteamCraft mod. It is the fastest spade, with the same digging speed as the Gold Spade. The Steam Spade looks different than other spades, simply for the fact that it is a steampunk tool and supposedly is run on steam or another power source. It requires a Steam Furnace to craft, but does not require fuel, although it may in the future.
