The Iron Drill is a tool added with the SteamCraft mod. It is the 3rd weakest Drill, preceded by the Stone Drill and succeeded by the Obsidian Drill. The Iron Drill, like other Drills, is able to mine through Stone, Dirt, and Gravel at a faster speed than the Iron Pickaxe and Iron Shovel. However, it is unable to mine through Ore blocks higher than Iron Ore. It is the first tier drill to be able to mine all ores mineable with a Drill.
