The Smoothbore Barrel is used in the construction of Muskets. These guns, as opposed to Rifles, are inaccurate, especially at distances. To make a Musket, you place a Smoothbore Barrel in the middle row of a crafting table with a Wooden Stock underneath it, and the type of lock you want on top of it (String, Flint and Steel, or Percussion Lock).
