The roller skates are equipped in the feet armor slot. They provide 1.5 points of armor, and make you move about twice as fast. While wearing roller skates, you may not climb half-blocks (including stairs). You may sprint while wearing roller skates. Doing so will increase your speed by the normal 1.3x for sprinting, making your final speed 2.6x as fast as normal.
