Brass Ingots are the result of combining Iron Ingots with Purified Copper. Alone, they cannot be crafted into tools. They can be crafted into a Steam Furnace (with a Furnace and Empty Bucket), which can then be used with Brass Ingots to make Steam Tools. Brass can be made into Spanners (Wrenches), which repair tool and armor damage, and Chisels, which can be used to "carve" certain blocks. Brass Goggles can be crafted when Brass Ingots are combined with Glass. They can also be used with Wood to make Brass Logs, as well as with Glass and Glowstone Dust to create Luminous Brass Leaves. Finally, Brass Ingots can be made into the usual material block.
