There are 6 types of Firearm in Steamcraft. Each one is crafted in 3 parts: A lock, a stock and a barrel. The stock is invariably the Wooden Stock, the barrel can be either a Smoothbore Barrel or a Rifled Barrel, which will affect the accuracy of the weapon, and the lock can be either a piece of String, a Flint and Steel or a Percussion Lock. The lock will affect which kind of weapon you make, and the power and reloading times of the weapon will alter accordingly. All 6 of the Firearms can also be obtained by killing a Highwayman, or from a chest in a Highwayman Hideout.
